CloudToolbox ("we," "us") provides free online tools for converting files and running calculations. This policy explains what happens to your files and data when you use them.
Some tools (like our image converters) process your file on our servers: the file is uploaded, converted, and the result is made available for you to download. Uploaded files and converted results are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours. If a conversion fails, the input file may be kept for up to 72 hours instead of 24, solely so we can investigate what went wrong — it is deleted on the same schedule after that window closes.
We do not manually review, inspect, or browse the files you upload. They are read only by the automated conversion process and are not used to train any model, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than producing your converted file.
Some tools (like our finance calculators) run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are never transmitted to our servers at all.
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate the site and understand aggregate usage. We do not require an account or ask for your name, email, or other personal details to use any tool.
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or optout.aboutads.info.
Files uploaded to server-side tools are processed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. AWS acts as our infrastructure provider and does not use your files for any purpose of its own. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Because uploaded files are deleted automatically within the windows described above and we don't maintain accounts or profiles tied to your identity, there is generally nothing further for us to delete on request. CloudToolbox is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
